My name is J. Michael Dlugos, and I'm a graphic designer and video/movie reviewer. I've been in the graphics biz since 1984, and the review biz since about 1997. Both are very important to me. I call my reviews "Reviews from the point-of-view of a movie lover," as opposed to a "critics" view.
My problem with critics is that they take their name too seriously, and are generally far, far too "critical" of flicks. Almost every flick can be enjoyed on some level, and I try to find that in my reviews.
